You have trash on the flop according to the articles and you're not commited as well, so just save the money you have left after the c-bet and fold to a check/raise.

Edit: Since the board is pretty dry you might c-bet a little less, 0.5$ perhaps, to get away with trash hands cheaper.

i thought it was a smart move even though i knew i was dominated because i had to ivest 0.70$ for a 2.70$. didn't i get the right price?

Actually, you are right from my calculations, with AJ, you prolly have 6 clean outs on such a dry flop and this give you ~25% equity, but with your pot odds you need ~20% to call, so you should be fine if you call.

But as I said earlier, I think you should c-bet less on such a flop(c-bet should be 1/2-2/3 of the pot, you bet 3/4 which is overbetting) and then you would get different pot odds and you would be able to fold more easily. Also, I think it's better if you stick to basic strategy until you master equity and outs and odds yourself because otherwise you will find yourself in situations that aren't profitable for you.

If you plan to call his raise, it`s better to push the flop directly.

Hello EladNotHome,

Stick to basic SSS and make a cbet of $0.5 and fold to a reraise. If you have experience with outs/odds you can make more room for other plays like other players suggested.

Best regards,
Gerv
