I would't call this push with J9s for half of my stack. I see people resteal shove with Q9+, Kx, Ax and pocket pairs. Against all these hands you are behind preflop so i would fold against this resteal.

Would i have K9+, A2+ ore 88+ i would call his bet but not with J9s.

think the raise is fine , would not call myself but as long as you got live cards then you are not that far behind

I'm not a fan of stealing here... we have M = 7 and we are pretty much committing our selfs if the sb shoves... I think I would just lay it down to be honest...

I'm calling the shove tho... I think you have enough equity to make a 1:1.9 call profitable... it's +++variance but still I'm calling it...

i dont like the steal here too.
with 1000 raise the BB will have 2050:600 or 3,4:1 odds.
so he can call you so lightly because he is a bigstack.
so if you want to raise, raise more.
but then you HAVE TO CALL the SB psuh because of the odds.

as played i call this shove. 2:1 odds with J9s against a desperate resteal.
this is a good equity call.
although it pushes the variance :)
