Why 3bet so small pre? We are OOP and against a fish. You could easily go much bigger.
Turn sizing could also be a lot bigger.
I think villain could easily be chasing draws here, especially when you let him. Based on his stack size I would say he is a fish and this board hits him hard. I think folding is reasonable.

I call. Not many straights in his range there, and we block flushes. Sets should raise at some point. That said, it is close, so expect to lose, but not even nearly 75% of the time (or whatever the exact math says).

+1 OOP You should raise bigger. Case in point river is weird, once you check you give him the chance to bluff you, but it's a tough board.

Most likely you'll lose, but a call is my opinion here because of the same reasons pointed by @YohanN7

Agree with the bigger 3 b size when OOP.
I would bet/f this river.

Why do you guys even consider check/call on the river to be an option? It is clearly worse than betting so we have to decide between betting (=shoving) and check/folding.

Why? Explanations beginning with "clearly" usually means that the author doesn't know. Besides, at each decision point, every option should be considered, because that way, you don't overlook things you must take into account.

On this board, the range you target with a river bet is pretty thin. A bad player may try to represent a straight when checked to. This is why check-calling is an option.

I thought it is quite obvious that there are more worse hands that can call than worse hands that can bet. There is no air in villain's range, no missed draws except for three combos 97s and the occasional gutshot. On the other hand there are all sorts of pairs that fish can call with but will often check back if we check. This also applies to many other spots as well and is the reason why we usually don't want to check/call river when draws complete (or when the opponent doesn't have draws in his range at all).

Now you motivate. Much better. That was my objection to your previous post.
