Hi,

I think betting line is okay, can get value from overpairs ?

maybe c/c river is even more EV+

BB: $30.29 (VPIP: 13.93, PFR: 11.26, 3Bet Preflop: 2.78, Hands: 1,471)
UTG: $5.60 (VPIP: 11.84, PFR: 11.88, 3Bet Preflop: 4.31, Hands: 304)
Hero (MP): $10.31
CO: $10.26 (VPIP: 19.24, PFR: 11.34, 3Bet Preflop: 2.73, Hands: 295)
BTN: $11.29 (VPIP: 19.00, PFR: 16.00, 3Bet Preflop: 5.13, Hands: 100)
SB: $1.58 (VPIP: 36.84, PFR: 10.53, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 20)

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has K♦ K♣

fold, Hero raises to $0.30, CO calls $0.30, fold, fold, fold

Flop: ($0.75, 2 players) 3♦ 9♥ 9♠
Hero bets $0.50, CO calls $0.50

Turn: ($1.75, 2 players) 5♠
Hero bets $1.16, CO calls $1.16

River: ($4.07, 2 players) 4♦
Hero bets $2.72, CO raises to $8.30 and is all-in, fold

Spoiler

CO wins $9.08

It is acceptable. River bet (make it smaller) also works as a blocking bet. There are arguments for checking river (and even turn) as well.

I think x/c River with decent bet would be better line. Or bet smaller 1/3 PSB on river and fold to a raise.
Hero bet big at flop/turn on paired board and got called twice. Give him some respect and see showdown as cheap as possible.

This is ok. I would bet river smaller though.

Make sure you take notes on players who do this. Sometimes it was 44 intending to call you down, but often this is the "big dumb slow play".

Taking notes on players like this is one of the most +EV things you could do. If you had x-called this river and he showed 44, it gives you licence to 3-street him every other time you have overpairs (and not waste two barrels+ with air). The same goes for if he showed 9x or 33 - you get a fantastic note for how this player plays the nuts on flops where any good player would just raise you and try to represent jacks.

Agree with the smaller river bet. 40% is my choice.
But I like the xc T idea too. Will we call a non-Ace river with up to 2/3 pot bet?

Nice line. Maybe a slightly bigger bet OTT.

2/3 pot bet is already much better than a pot bet to call down KK with. I might opt in here. I mostly have bad experience with pot bets but not much with 2/3. It looks more beatable when villain does that.

With non-Ace river I'm calling 2/3 PSB. Not many hands beats us so think we're getting good price.

i would bet bigger on the turn and river
and would also usually fold to a river raise, even if he represents only 9x ,33,55

That is what I thought too. Sounds like a good plan.
