Should I cbet the flop here?

It has come to my attention that the most money I lose is in such situations. My AK/AQ doesn't hit the flop, I bet, my opponent calls because he hits his pair. I lose 20BB.
If he doesn't hit I profit ~4-6BB.
So is it profitable to cbet if you don't hit?

Nh.

Considering your question, I don't think you are as much aware of the hands where your opponent folds his hand as of those where you get called(and are often dominated). But from my experience this IS a profitable play. And sometimes you will get called even with worse hands that are drawing to flush on such a board.

can we contibet 1/2pot here?

i always contibet 1/2 potsize on a dry board.
if your conti gets raised, you must decide if you can still fold or if you are comitted.

I'm not sure c-betting 1/2 the pot would make much sense when we have potsized stack left, so I rather push for max FE and avoid hard decisions in case we get called/reraised.

yes, i also dont know if we can play bet-fold with just potsize left!

Somebody can explain when it is better to shove directly and when to play bet - fold/call

in general, i like the bet-fold/call play better because it creats the same amount of foldequity. (on NL100+)
