Does anyone know how is rakeback calculated? At Fulltilt I have 27% shared rakeback. So I receive back 27% from the rake. Do I have to win the pot to receive 27% or it doesn’t matter if I win the pot? If the game has a 5% rake what is the effective rake I pay after I receive rakeback? I always thought that I pay 5%-2,7%=2,3%. But this is just if I receive rakeback only for the pots I win. If winning the pot is not a condition to receive rakeback what is the effective rake I pay?

I think is like this:

100FTP is ~ 25 Strategy points(is a bit less sth. like 24,2) which means 12$ rake produced(1$ rake at FTP=2SP).

12$*0,27=3,24

So for every 100FTP you'll make you will get aprox. 3,24 rake back!

That was for ring games.

I mean at SNGs you get 7FTP for every 1$ fee. Which makes 14,28$ rake at 100FTP.

I know how to calculate how many $ I will receive. I want to know what is the effective rake I pay in ring games with 5% rake. Given the fact that I have rakeback, instead of 5% I will effectively pay less. But how much less? 2,3%?

Instead of paying 5% Rake, you'll pay 3.65% (73% of the 5 rake, 100%-27%).
That's it in theory anyway, but whether it is exactly that probably depends on other factors.

Try not to worry too much about how it is calculated or how to 'earn' it. Just keep playing your A-game and treat it as what it should be.... a bonus at the end of the week to add back into your stats.
Never allow your play to be affected by rake consideration.

Good luck.
