NL25 Zoom - Bottom Set on the turn, is there a way out of the hand?

The way out was to raise the flop. I think slowplaying in situations where your hand can be devalued by the turn is a mistake. Make a small 2010 era "info raise" as if you had jacks instead would be my play OTF.

OTT... calling on the flop makes shoving for slightly more than a PSB difficult as like you said overpairs probably wont come with us. The turn is ugly as well.

The negative part of slowrolling a set is that on bad runouts all you achieve is to turn a set into a big bluff catcher. Unfortunately this is one of those spots.

in position, with that superdry flop, and a 3rd player behind me that could potentially call the bet as well, is it really bad to call? UTG will almost nevery have a draw there, so you don t need to protect at all.

I would probably call flop, call turn, and then call or raise almost every river, only a 2 is really scary on the river

I would raise OTF. Maybe we can sometimes slowplay with top set or something but I wouldn't do it here. Calling only because there is one played left behind who might call is not ok imo. I believe we get more value in the long run if we raise OTF. Also we have to protect our hand, the more players are in the hand, the lower our equity is.

Heads up I think calling might be more ok.
