QJs - To cbet, or not to cbet?

If you bet, bet small. You are essentially "buying a free card" (for the turn). I'd simply check and take the free card now.

You can try and pull off a bluff cbet but I am not sure you have FE vs 2...

Cbetting in this spot isnt great. The fisher might not even fold an underpair for all you know and the unknown can have a pair but also easily an A or a K. While you are really looking at 3 outs if the pot gets big.... imo check here and take free shot at tour outs

I'd go for a smaller iso and b half of the pot or give up completely

Having position here is so good that I definitely don't want to check this and I'd cbet a bit less than half pot. We can fold out air and lower PPs reliably and we also get free river because they won't raise flop or donk turn often. Bonus money if one of them thinks a lot and calls - we can barrel any blank and have a ton of FE.

What do you mean with this?

When a player thinks for a while when facing a bet, there are two possible thought processes - "Do I call or fold?" and "Do I call or raise?". There are a lot more weak hands than strong hands so someone thinking for some time before calling is a strong incentive for us to keep barreling as a general rule. On this board there is almost nothing that will consider raising and still call us so if we see that happening, villain's range will mainly consist of hands that are really weak and almost folded flop => we barrel turn and he snapfolds. It's basically free money.

From my experience this is just the opposite. When villain calls quickly he usually has a draw/mid pair/something weak that is not raising or not folding.

When villain thinks a little bit longer they usually have a stronger hand.

Villain with strong holding can take time to decide whether to raise here, or just call and give you the rope...

Agreeing with Marsa08 and nitrol. If someone I concidering being a weakplayer I always barrel when villian c/c quickly.

I think betting and checking are both ok. I personally lean more towards betting small.

There is a principle that says "do not bet yourself off a hand". You have outs to the nuts in a small pot not really worth bluffing into with uncertain prospects (+ or - EV???). The nut cards may give the opponents strong hands, and a check-back is guaranteed to have +EV because 8% of the time you will hit nuts/near nuts. I'd opt for that.
