Could we cbet flop? Vs recreational I think I might find a call. We have to be right around 20% of the time?

If we add at least some bluffs it looks like we can call this. I think villain could raise some Jx too if he doesn't believe you have Kx? Maybe he thinks you would have cbet those hands.

I really hate that you x-b this flop vs recreational passive calling station.

Just take your fit-or-fold streets of value when you hit vs this player type - bang, bang, bang. Getting creative here is how so many people end up venting about "wanting to play against better players".

As played you've turned top pair bad kicker into a trap with no resolution on the opponents range at all. If you'd cbet the flop and been X-R'd you could have folded then and saved doubling him up. As played it OTR always comes back to "fish shove = nuts". Fishy don't bluff here ever. He thinks he is in front. He could be wrong, but not often with our fairly weak holding.

ok let's cb then!!. I usually skip cb with recreational with low PFR.
