X/f. This is 3 way pot and I do not expect someone to bet on this board without good equity. X/c from reg (assume you are with reg stats) on this board with the fish in the hand, for me means - "I'm with a poor hand and want to see one more card before to decide what to do".

Betting is not good if BTN doesn't fold much to cbets and SB is a fish. So it is either x/c or x/f. If we check call, we don't really know where we stand if we hit something so I think it is maybe better to go with check fold? There is a lot of better hands and better draws out there and I don't think villains are going to bluff this with air very often.

It is not good to bet just to get info. And if there is one 75/0 fish and one reg who might not want to fold to cbets, we already know how they will react.

Betting for info is not that bad. If noone wants the pot, why not getting it.

We are multiway and second to act so we don't know what BTN will do. If we had absolute position it would be ok but we have to keep in mind that villain could check his flush here sometimes.

That is true if we play vs regs and good players. You are probably right here too but we can't forget the fact that SB is a fish and we don't know what he is thinking. Fish might me sometimes unpredictable and do something that they shouldn't. He could forget that paired board or fourth flush card kills the action and instead think that they don't want to scare us out of the pot.

Look, bad players will try to get it in on the flop on this board.

Not necessarily the passive ones. Just yesterday I had to write a note that villain skips cbet when he flops a set. Their mind works differently

You are talking about different flop and different situation.
On monoboards villains do not play tricky every day.

For once, I'd say "betting for info" has value. It is not the only reason to bet, we have some equity and, most importantly, can get position and initiative. The latter is impossible with a check-call that costs at least as much as a small bet. I'd say that due to the presence of of the fish and relatively weak, but not hopeless holding, bet-fold > check-fold > check-call. Proceed with extreme caution on the turn and usually give up if you don't get position and initiative.

i like yohanns plan. and w ealso still have Q of hearts... its not A or K but still a high card for the flush
