These are the bad things about calling with these hands preflop. You can get into trouble with your flush. I would have folded pre. A 76s, or 87s would be the worst suited connector for calling pre. Otherwise I would fold to the turn bet. It is just burning money to call ott and fold otr. Your hand won't be any better otr. It can only get worse by a 4th spade. He is calling otf 4way and then make a potbet ott 3way which is very strong. If he has an Ax fd or 9x he still has some equity against you. But lastly you have a 33% pot odds.

oh ok. i wasnt even considering that . maybe you guys are right and i need to tighten up my call range in multiway pots. especially since behind me there was still alot of guys that could have reraised yeah.
aside from that ye i should have thought more on the turn how i will react to certain river cards and villain bets. thanks for the ideas guys

Look, if you close the action, you can call mw, but as there are players behind...I prefer folding.

Clear fold preflop. Because you called this hand pre, we are facing difficult situations postflop. You have a flush but you have no idea if it is good or not. Since villain bets pretty big and the board is paired maybe it is better to fold our baby flush.

Calling preflop is at most a minor mistake. With one more in the pot, calling is mandatory.

Not raising on turn is a major mistake. Any spade, any 9, Q, 7 or K is a disaster.

It is on the flop you make the decision to draw at a non-nut flush on a paired board. Questionable, but if you do draw and HIT, you cannot back off. What the hell did you draw for? Missing?

Really good point. There is absolutely no reason to call on a paired flop and hope to hit flush and when you hit you fold.

I agree to a degree. What bothers me is the paired board but still raising may be better OTT.

We should - as played.

The decision on the flop is based on that we think that with this board and this particular villain we expect to get paid off enough to draw. This absolutely must include that when villain keeps betting on the 3-f board, we are still ahead. Just calling on the turn, not letting him pay for one-spade hands is never an option.

Yup, if we call flop I think it is better to raise turn.
But all of this started preflop. I wouldn't play with this kind of babyflush multiway. There are better flushes out there.

And yes as played call river. There is no point in folding anymore.
