K6s multidraw flop shove AI

I think raise 3 bb fold preflop would have been fine.

This shove on the flop, ever call it? 69/31 to outdraw the opp but if we lose, we get no money. Still not a clear fold for me but may be it should be.

It’s also good to know if you have any fold to steal stats on him, but if I raise pre-flop I think 2,5x is fine as well in the SB against the big stack with 2 short stacks still in. In position I would always min raise in this phase of the SNG.

As played we have only a draw and we have still a decent stack left as 2nd in chips.
So I wouldn’t gamble here with him and wait for a better spot on the bubble.

You have OESD+FD so you have good equity. Still your FD is not to the nuts. Compared to other players you have ok stack left if you fold. I would flip a coin and decide. Maybe I lean towards a fold here.

If this would be a Cev decision I would earlier gamble than on the bubble.
Based on $ev is this a clear fold. You need way more than 50% equity to make a call profitable.

This is where cash games and tournaments differ a bit. That is why I thought that folding is ultimately the better choice here but I just couldn't tell the proper reasons

That’s no problem. It’s good to read our Chip Value articles for this:
Chip Value (1): The Principle of Diminishing Chip Value
Chip Value (2): The Fundamentals of the Independent Chip Model (ICM)
Chip Value (3): Application of the ICM
Chip Value (4): The Risk Premium Concept

Then you use a icmcalculator to calculate how much value your chips have when you fold your hand, when you call and win and if you will lose the hand.

In this particular way this hand is converted we don’t have the stack information. So I have calculated that manually. So there could be a mistake in it.
If you will fold the hand your stack has a value of 25.7196% of the prize pool.
If you call and loose it will be 0%, because you don’t have any chips left.
If you call and win your stack has a value of 38.2907. Then you need to give the villain a particle range.

I’m now a little bit lazy and I gave him any 2 range and then you have 68.53% to win this hand:

Equity Win Draw
SB 68.53% 65.64% 2.89% { Kc6c }
BB 31.47% 28.57% 2.89% { random }

So you do then 0,6953 times 38,2907= 26,62….% of the prize pool and then you can see how much value you have when he would shove with any 2 cards here. If this would be a realistic range you could even call here, but I doubt the BB would shove that.

Now you can do it yourself as well with a better range and then you will see that you can’t call against him or he knows exact that you need to fold pretty much everything here and I doubt a random $1 player will know this.
