BTN: $8.70 - VPIP: 20, PFR: 17, 3B: 20, AF: 6,0, Hands: 30
SB: $9.76
Hero (BB): $5.00
UTG: $4.42
MP: $9.67
CO: $7.38

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BB with A :diamond: T :diamond:
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.12, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.36, BTN calls $0.24

Flop: ($0.74) 7  A :club: T :club: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.47, Hero raises to $1.04, BTN calls $0.57

Turn: ($2.82) J :club: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $7.30, Hero calls $3.60 all in

River: ($10.02) 7 :spade: (2 players - 1 is all in)

I have little history with this opponent. I have caught him calling a 3bet with 76s before on BU and to my check he bet on flop (didn't hit that hand)

Preflop: mostly value 3bet
Flop: because of my history I wanted him to bet to me, I put him on Ax hands mostly.
Turn: looking back at it, my play looks horrible, hoped to see the river cheapely, he bets all-in. FD gets here, straight gets here, JJ even AJ has me beat. Should have folded.

You have "little" history.. Yea, 30 hands. You really can't base any decisions on that sample and you should play this straight forward. Bet flop and bet turn.
You said he has called a 3bet with 67s before so why do you think Ax is more likely than flush draw?
You are right that you should have folded turn :)

Call and see a flop, man. Our hand is not a powerhouse, there aren't players behind.
Bet solid flop+turn. As played, raise much bigger. You are giving him correct odds to call you...
Turn is a fold.

Calling pre is ok, 3betting is also okayish.

You should just bet/bet/bet when you 3bet and hit 2p.

As played raise at least to 1,5$ otf .

3bet pre, bet flop. Check flop - OK you have observations, but what is this x/min raise? Obviously it is not that scary move :f_biggrin:

x/min raise looks fishy...

Yes it does but the size of the raise is not the problem here. The raise itself is bad.

Your general plan with a strong hand OOP should be bet/bet/bet and hope that villain raises. (A bit depending on the board runout of course)

As played, it is our only right play. So the size matters.

Imo we should bet instead of x/r. So I wouldn't say that x/r is our only right play.

I agree that we should bet. I am talking that as we x then it matters.

Yes, in that case it does matter.
