yes that is a straight, it are 5 consecutive cards, although, in the example you give in your first post you only have JQKA which are four consecutive cards, and in poker 4 consecutive cards = nothing

but 2 connect it

in your case A plays high, meaning it has a value of 14, not of 1. So 2AKQJ is not a straight in your case.

beginners mistake I suppose, an ace can be used in an A2345 straight or an TJQKA, but it cannt connect between a K and a 2
