I wonder what's the general opinion about this hand. I think you can play this hand in different ways but I wonder what's the most optimal line.
Looking back at it, I think I played it fine, besides maybe betting lower on flop (40% pot) to induce more bluffs from villain and then 3bet his raise to fold out a big part of his range which beats us or has some equity on us. Once he shoves over us, we are committed but I don't mind. (still wondering if it isn't a bit spewy against this nit) ![]()
Maybe this line is a bit more + EV: x/r flop and fold to 3bet. When villain calls the x/r we can put it in on every 3, spade (8 and A?)
