Any reads on villain?
His overbet OTR looks scary. Some straights are possible but I don't think he will be betting flop and turn with KT, 8T that often.
I think it is okay to call with top 2 here.

The fd didn't complete, it's hard to justify that weird betting line given only 8T and KT might have been drawing, even sets wouldn't go with twice size overbet on the river. It seems like a bluff to me (if he's got normalish stats, i wouldn't give him much of trust).

But the straight completed. Hard to fold top 2p but vs an overbet ....We can fold.

Do not forget to write a note on that.

You should call according to "balanced play" because you are at the very top of your range or very near it. If you base your play based on such considerations, you need a read to fold. The present hand reading makes this an easy call when added to balancing considerations.
