Villain is LAG reg. I know him to 5b jam wide, call down when backdoors miss. CB xb b with toppair type hands on dry boards. (not always obviously)

Not sure at all what to think of his turn range. Should be some backdoor draws ie 45/A4-A5, Axh etc. Also A3 34s maybe some air bluffs etc etc.

Regarding my actual play I suppose it's the worst of three options, but I was so tired at the point I played it and got so confused so I just threw it away (with the session, hehe).

Hi, 1/2 pot bet otf on the extremely dry board (if you want to try to take the hand down) looks better imo. Turn - I would rather prefer x back. You have a decent sample for villain - what is his fold to cbet flop and turn stat?

I would check behind turn here.
As played I think folding is definitely fine. If we were drawing to the nuts I think calling would be close vs this guy.

Checking turn seems foreign to me. Why? Isn't this a quite good 3-barrel board when we pick up equity? Which hands should we keep on shooting with?

43 flop, 44 turn. (1k sample, but I've played with him for a few more k hands last year, new database since 2016 though).

I can sort of agree with 3 barrel BUT the board is paired and we are not drawing to the nuts. We are in position and have the chance to see a free card so I prefer to do that. If villain happens to raise, we are in trouble.

Yeah, agree with turn barrel. Maybe just make flop and turn smaller.
