AT river shove

AT was not good enough for 3 streets of value here IMO. x flop, bet turn & river.

As played, fold against villain's raise.

ATo is too lose to open from UTG. Especially when you see that MP, BTN and SB are quity active 3 bettors.
River is xb.

This play from BB is so suspicious to me... I mean - if he had sets wouldn't he raise it earlier?
Would he play his 2 pairs this way? I kinda doubt it. Overpair - no chance.
Any hand that would play this way would be 97d, 97h and some lucky floats with 75.
How ever I can see him bluffing like this with some busted draws...

Logic tells me I have to fold, risking my whole stack on TPTK, but I would really really tank about my decision in this spot (probably would end up folding). Call me a fish, but this is suspicious play in my eyes and could smell some bluffs in it.

Yea, he had 66, i was bit suprised, i ekspected T8 maybe becouse he was BB, hoped for busted flush draw, and thout he wuld reraise sets on flop, turn. I rearly see players bluff for stack here, i think its bad call, especialy vs unknown player but i already invested lot in pot betting for 3 streets, had like 4:1 at river to call.

I knew it was a set or straight...
You make a solid river bet andwhen you face a raise, it is a pretty honest sign of strength.

Most of hands i post are beats, so not hard to guess. I need to post some bluffcatch to mix my hand posting range.

You should always fold on river shove with TPTK

It is not about mixing hands. It is about not calling 4 streets with just TP.

This should illustrate that the game of "guess villains hand" is pretty much wasted time. We are at the very rock bottom a any value range when betting OTR (too loose - as is opening in the first place). Think, but don't think much (note that he has called and check-raised river big). Just fold.

You are right, i usualy check for late position players stats when opening some hands, i sometimes open AT utg, sometimes i dont.

You made 4 streets and this is not ok. You didn/t have to open the betting round on river. Calling the raise was even worse.
