Every 9x, AK beat you. He can have 2p+ too...
Vs such a shortstack you can even overbet to put him AI by turn.

Once you decide you are not folding, then putting him AI yourself OTR is almost always better than check-calling in similar spots. Other than that I have no opinion here.

Mostly when I meet SS in such situation, I try to get them over the commitment threshold asap. I guess you could have done that here as well. I think you don't need to win much OTR so a call would be ok here in the long-run.
