89s on MP, can we open?

Is it good to open on MP with 89s or do we just fold on this table? The table is full of more or less competent players and one unknown player, so do they 3bet so much that we cannot open this hand or is it safe to just open and hope to pick up the blinds. As far as I can see it are all tight regulars.

1. You should switch the tableand find one with more incompetent players.
2. You can open 89s from MP.

Agree with looking for other table. But in this kinda condition, I dont know what to open from MP.

With competent players, I think I still would open here.

This should be a standard open and should not be skipped.
Otherwise we will get too tight and predictable.
