0,5/1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.65 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is UTG1 with Q♦, Q♣
Hero raises to $4,00, 5 folds, BU calls $4,00, 2 folds.

Flop: ($9,50) A♦, T♦, A♠ (2 players)
Hero bets $6,00, BU calls $6,00.

Turn: ($21,50) 8♣ (2 players)
Hero bets $10,00 (All-In), BU calls $10,00.

River: ($41,50) 5♣ (1 players)

Final Pot: $41,50

Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows two pairs, aces and queens (Qd Qc)
BU shows two pairs, aces and kings (Ks Kd)

BU wins with two pairs, aces and kings (Ks Kd)

On the flop my mindflow was, if for example I held AA and the board came K K X I would go broke with my hand, so for this reason I'm also going broke with my QQ here.

I would like to know if going broke with QQ is ok, I mean are there enough worse hands paying me off, e.g. PPs, FDs, GSs? And should I give up without the A and/or should I give up without the highest PP possible besides AA(this last is also the reason I added the results)?

Here I would actually Check/Call Turn for bluff induce and Bet river if he checks to me. I think we can get value out of some weaker pockets that way. Its tough though as you did raise from UTG and most people know about SSS player ranges.

Hello Burek2000,

I wouldn't play check/call the Turn because it's a drawy board and I do not put BU on an Ace so I go broke on the Turn

Just make sure you got the reads after this hand

Best regards,
Gerv
