Go play FL2. Read the articles, and after some serious volume you may have 10$ again.
Really, deposit or quit poker.
You can also try the TAF program to get some free cash.
Try your luck with freerolls. I came to 5$ and then played just freerolls and actually won one, got 210$ and after that I really read the articles (at least 2 times). Went on tables again and everything went up. Wish u all the best.
If you have some fpp's try playing in the $500 tourney which costs 10fpp's to enter. I tried this when I had no money on pokerstars and only fpp's. I was able to make some cashes to afford some buy ins at a cash table. This has worked for me, maybe you can do it too. Im not a regular stars player at the moment but I've worked my br up to about $25, from nothing so it is possible. Good luck to you.
if you don't want to deposit you can play in limit holdem with 50 BB or play ten 10c tourneys. If you don't survive that then you can either play some freerolls or reclute friends.

Dont listen to people when they say quit or deposit its the be all end all. thats bullshit!!!
I was in a similar state to you: and now im taking poker and BRM seriously and my BR is $24!
here are your options ranked from most recommended to least recommended:
1st: 10FFP $500 guaranteed freerolls (i came 6th in one and got $15!)
2nd: 10c, 25c MTTS (Its not hard to make the bubble and pickup 40cents)
3rd: Hubbles freerolls, Daily 80k freerolls, or Steps (depending on how many FFPS you have)
4th: FL2/4 with 50BB (very risky so play tight and try and get heaps of value bets)
5th: NL2 (Play SSS and just move in with AA, KK, QQ, JJ, and AK only)
As i said i went from $0.00 - $24.00. Once you do make it you will learn the value of a cent and follow good BRM unless you truly do suck at poker. So remember be true to yourself, your bankroll and remember: every cent counts!

A friend of mine started with 0.00 with free rolls... and now he has 2000eur banckroll!! This mean you have 10x more!!!
Read all of the above... read the articles and try to improve your play! BRM is the most important thing!!! Remember its not too late even if you loose this 1$.

P.S. Chris Fergusons made 2 experiments: to make 0.00 into 10K and 1$ into 20K .... both successfull 
Depending on how many FPPs you have, you could try the 70FPP sng sats. If you win, cash out the $11 buy in for $T and try some more Sngs. So many donks on those tables so it pretty much comes down to luck if you win but good luck anyway.
I busted completly on friday night. Played a 20fpp free roll on saturday made 50cents. Went into .25 mtt and won 2.10. Kept playing those double or nothing sng's and have built my br up to 73$
