I guess you can defend that, although folding should not be terrible either. In my experience 4 BB opens are stronger than 3bb or min raises and given he's utg and unknown i lean towards folding.

Edit: If you think to 3bet i would advise you not to do that on this limits with this hand against these positions.

i would call and see flop,, if you hit good and he have a strong hand as his raise might indicate, he will most likely pay you off good with premium pair as kk+

33/33 stats even with only 27 hand sample is imo an indicator that this guy is more agressive than nitty type of player. QJs play well post flop even oop. I would call.

This is a fold vs 4x open. You are dominated, his fd and as are better and you will be oop. Making assumptions on 27 hands is ridiculous. :)

BTW if we are BB then we could think of defending (I still wouldn't do it vs 4BB) but from small blind it's clear fold for me.

I would fold this as a standard. Calling is not bad nor is 3betting.

The problem with calling here is that it invites the BB to squeeze. However, I also don't like 3-betting QJs OOP against an UTG open. Therefore I would probably fold. However, if the BB was passive, I would call and see a flop.

Indeed, that's why I posted the hand. I was thinking or a few seconds to 3-bet but we can't do this vs utg with a 4x open. We more often than not face a 4b or find ourselves in an extremely awkward position if called. So the question might be something like 'How much EV will a call be and can we make it up postflop skill- and equity-wise?'

Even from BB it is a fold pre.
