K2s in SB flops TP

The only reason to bet the flop is to protect your hand against the flush draw and further only better hands will call most likely. I would most likely bet 3k on the flop, check the turn and bet the river with 2 pair.

Yes, Turn bet is really thin. You can check and decide to continue based on the bez sizing.

The Jack actually gives you more value against JT and QJ + FDs - those hands will normally be folded or raised as semi bluff by a good oponent, thus the turn check is better, because you lose value and will likely fold some equity when raised.

But he seems fishy. If you ever bet this hand on the turn - this is the best oponent to do so against.

I was a bit worried about betting the turn, but he was a real fish and I just felt OTF he was on a draw and wouldnt fold yet, he called realy quickly as well which often means they are drawing. OTT I knew it was quite risky but felt I had the best hand vs this specific opponent, then obviously the river is a great card for me as no draw got there and I improve

Please do not listen to the posts above. Turn barrel is actually very good, because there are plenty of weaker hands calling down. Any pair is going to call and any draw, especially at these stakes. I do not think that there is much else you could have done in this hand based on the runout. I would definitely have played it the same. Checking the turn is a huge mistake, because essentially you are waving a white flag - 'I HAVE ONE PAIR, PLEASE PLAY ACCORDINGLY!'. And you simply then would complicate your hand, by checking you let others play perfectly against you while you will be the one making the mistakes.

It must be that I am so nitty but I wouldn't play this hand aggressive at all since your hand is pretty marginal and thus I would c/c flop and if it got checked on the flop I would probably bet turn and river on most non hearth card. If someone did bet I probably call at least the flop and turn.

The opponents in these MTT's on 888.es are pretty awful though and could easily call with an 8 or 9 on that flop or even A high, basically anything.....
Makes it virtually impossible to put them on a hand but usually easy to get paid by worse

As played how about betting 3k ish on river to extract some value n induce some bluffs.i m assuming it was not a fold in any case on that river..

Could well be a plan, small river bets are something I have started experimenting with to get some value out of hands like 2nd pair etc

What do you thing about the bet-sizing?
Wouldnt it be better to bet 2/3 or even 3/4 of the pot on the turn.
I see potential straght- and flushdraws (and thus combodraws) out there.
