t: BET! almost all the weaker hands in his range have to call. you shouldnt get checkraised often because your range is fairly strong
r: as played, i'd fold here. this card hits your range very well and he bets into you. unlikely that he'd bet a 6 or weaker, and it's hard to find bluffs for him

Thanks for the info. I was already questioning my play here and it is good to hear I atleast was questioning it correctly.
Now to implement it into my game...

assuming villain x/calls turn, i'd check behind on the river if he lets us. fold if he donks, we have better hands to bluffcatch

yep, certainly bet/fold turn
against very aggro opponent I can see why you check turn intending to call on river

I am not convinced that we beat most hands he'll call a turn bet with. Stuff like overcards without FD and without a SD/GS might be folding. He couldn't count 6 clean outs with these.

I still vote clearly for betting. The tie breaker is that if we check, we're forced to fold to a river bet on many cards (like this one), and, in addition, we don't really mind him folding his six-outers and don't want to give them free cards.
