And the last one for the night.

From last discussion i have learn to be not too passive. This time i was not passive.
On the flop i think the btn has some Jack. That's why i called.
The turn was a great card for me i was thinking. 2 pair. If he had some JQ's i would have beat that as well.

But in stead he had the pocket JJ....:f_confused:

At the end the sessie was oke. With a lot of ups and down i ended with a profit over $4..... :f_drink:

UTG: $1.08
Hero (MP): $2.82
CO: $0.59
BTN: $2.00
SB: $1.98
BB: $2.00

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is MP with A  Q :diamond:
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.06, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.06, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.15) J :club: 9  Q :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.07, BTN raises to $0.25, Hero calls $0.18

Turn: ($0.65) A :club: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.47, Hero calls $0.47

River: ($1.59) 4 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.22 all in, Hero calls $1.22

No trips are possible but a set is.
I am not sure about the flop call.

At the micros, especially at NL2 I think flop check raises are very strong. Ppl don't seem to bluff xr enough. Also villains sizing is quite big. But still I find it too difficult to give up TPTK.
Turn card is stupid because villain reps a very strong range, A improves us but still some draws villain can xr as a bluff get there. It might be better to give up but to be honest I think I would call here too.
I think OTR we should be able to fold. Villain is repping strong hands by playing like this. We are splitting the pot at the best and most likely losing against sets and straights.

I actually think you are behind but it is hard to establish without info. I also made some hero calls this week and won so it is possible. However, without info, I would fold here OTR.

It is very hard to get away here (at any point), and AQ is the weakest hand we can call all the way with. The correct play is probably to sometimes fold river, but not always (you have 9 combos of AQ). Other than that observation, reads rule. Keep your eyes open and take notes.

Also, folding flop cannot be much wrong. The board is extremely hostile and you may be drawing dead.

You should not feel scared/frustrated/tilted/angry... Just make notes on the situation and remember what was the general suggestion.

I would bet the flop bigger. When he raises, I guess we can call once and give up the turn unimproved, but folding would also be fine (I would probably fold). When we hit two pairs OTT, it's fine to check/call turn and river imo.
