It’s tricky that he’s tight pre-flop. Otherwise I would shove pre-flop already with almost even stack with the CO player. As played I would go for it with top pair good kicker.

Isn't completion rather a sign of weakness? Shouldn't his range be biased towards broadways?

FYI, not questioning your answer, just asking to confirm / deny my thought process. ;-)

the SB is only playing 9.5% - 88+,ATs+,KTs+,QTs+,AJo+,KQo and KTo only has 33% against that range so the check pre seems best to me
How had he been playing post flop? Was he aggressive or did he usually c/c? If he liked to bet did he usually bet pot?
I would try and think through those before deciding whether to shove or just call and reevaluate OTT, its only because hes so tight pre and now betting pot that I would consider just caling

He didn't play that much post flop because he didn't play much at all. But when he hit the board he always bet the flop. Nevertheless, I think in this situation "hitting the flop" could have meant that he hit the 8 or the T with a worse kicker. It is still a tough decision and I guess both plays (push and fold) are OK in some kind of way.

I think he probably beats your KTo preflop, shoving I think the SB would fold , KTo on the flop depending how you hit ,you will probably be unsure where you stand, I think I would play check/fold

If a player who is tight pre flop, bets the flop then I think its safe to say hes hit the flop, and if he bets pot I'd say its safe to say hes smashed that flop, he could still have JT, QT but I think thats unlikely.

I would be very surprised if you're ahead OTF
