Hackers using virus to view hole cards on PokerStars and Full Tilt

I'm surprise barely anyone talks about it in all the poker forums out there, this had me a bit worried, the last thing I want is to commit myself like a workaholic studying poker and playing all night just so I can pay these eastern european hackers. And sure I could go to another site but the player pool on PS is what I'm after, lots of fish.

If you're a winning player on pokerstars or FT (if you win it means you haven't got hacked, right?), what antivirus or other protection do you use to hide those hole cards?

This is a one year old thing so maybe that is why ppl don't talk about it so much anymore. Just keep your system and other software up to date and use a antivirus and you should be safe. F-Secure is one of the best in my opinion.

I know its been a year but still, they could've made another more vicious one by now.

I am not even aware that a virus that kind is being used. Sure the virus might be already detected by who knows if they manage to make another one which the antivirus companies unable to detect. That is why it is important to always update your antivirus to make sure that your protected from new kinds of virus.
