I think both options are fine. You can take a bit of higher variance route and raise in order to get calls from onepair (KQ, QJ, KT, JT, ...) or lower twopair hands with the risk of getting raised and be up against J9 or a set. Or you can call and take the safer route because there are some hands that have you beat.

Don't think you're up against a set too often because TT and QQ should reraise pre and you have both those hands blocked so he should have exactly 55 or J9 to have you beat so I think I'd lean towards raising the river for value.

I think raise option is prefferred, we still have top 2p. Yes, J9 is closed but the villain could have lower 2p or even weaker 2p.

I usually treat minbets as checks. I would play this hand like you did.

Agreed, calling there 1BB (or 8BB OTR) is too tight imo. Raising it is good.

You can bet with a great size in all street imho, you have top top any top pair is in brt call ans you want win max vs draw (kj, j9 has straight turn) per pair+ gutshot on turn

This line from BB seems so fishy that I would probably raise even higher. Maybe even shove all in totally for value. If he has us beat it sucks to be us, but most of the time we're ahead.
