Hi everyone,
here I have TT, raised to 3 BB from UTG and got reraised from the CO. Villain and I have an almost identical stacksize of ~90BB. I folded here because the pot was already pretty big for the early phase and I didn't like the thought of playing this hand out of position. If I call, the usual way would be to check and let villain cbet. If I would call that cbet I don't have any further information whether my TT is good or not, no matter how the board looks like. So I could play check/raise on the flop. This play however would make the pot even bigger and to further action from the CO I would have to fold. Another option is to donkbet otf and fold to a raise.
After reviewing this hand I think my fold is tight but reasonable. The donkbet would be my second choice but as mentioned, I don't like to play such a big pot in the early phase with TT out of position. What would be your choice?
