[Closed] Nl100 FR: QQ vs 3bet

I would never 3bet the flop here. I try to get cheaply to the showdown: You only have 40% equity against {QQ+,AK}... But you do have odds to call the flop bet. The turn card is really bad, but I still think the call on the flop is the best option.

Well, it really depends on the 3bet frequency of MP2 vs your position. The 5% is overall? or against early position?

If it's 5% overall, he will probably 3bet way less from MP vs early. Many players don't even 3bet AK in that situation. - against those I would fold preflop.

I don't like to raise on the flop, but I don't like calling either - if we assume that he might have AK, there are 10 cards in the deck I don't wanna see. (4, A, K). And if he has AK, he will check behind the turn, so he get's one more card for free. = in nearly 42% of the cases he will improve by the river.

I agree with you a call is not a good idea.
Don't really know about his 3bet range in that situation but i reall think AK is in his range and JJ should be in too.

Anyway was the 1st 3 bet vs me and the last hand of my session, so i decided to play passive.....

well I do not agree call is a bad option. If he 3bet JJ+, and fold JJ,QQ,AK to your check raise allin. He calls with KK+, which is reasonable for a typical regular FR player.

then you have the following equities (suppose you check raise allin, and suppose he calls down unless he improves):

EVcheckraise = 0.66*(28.5+19) + 0.33 * (0.09*113.5 - 0.91*86.5) = 8.7$

EVcall = 0.48 * (28.5+19) - 0.52*19 = 12.9$

You could argue that the benefice of the agressive image u get for the 4$ difference is worth it, but it seems to me the flop call is a viable option. All the more that in 155 hands you really don't know how he behaves in 3bet pots.
