AJs BTN 3bet pot

Floating in 3bet pot is usually a bad idea, raising for bluff for 2x as well.

Floating in 3bet pots, moreover BB vs BU ones, is usually quite necessary in fact because we aren't gonna hit that much on many flops and we can't overfold too much it would be worse than making some limit calls.

So you can call flop, or fold if you think villain tighter than average, but I don't like that raise.

I think it depends a bit on villains 3betting and cbetting tendencies. Floating flop with nut backdoors and one over is not very bad. But folding wouldn't be bad either. Raising however is bad imo.

Why is that in this case? I don't give villian a K too often because he's more likely to just call his Kx hands instead of 3betting. Except AK obviously.. So my J could also be alive some times.

Standard play for me would be to fold to his cbet. If he cbets too much I would float. There is no need to raise him. His bet is around 3/5 pot, which is quite standard, maybe even bigger than standard (considering the dry board). So your conclusion that he is weak is bad imo.

I think its close between floating and folding without info. I am not raising also on this dry board cause we do not rep strong hand.

or maybe not floating, but calling to try to win showdown with A high?
