hey there, im pretty new to poker, and so i wanted to try a turnament and i started to wonder how much i should bring when the turnament starts.
Its a NL- hold'em with a 1$ buy-in.
what would you suggest?

You can't bring money to Tournaments, tournaments have set buy-ins, for example, $1 like you said and you can tournament chips usually around the 1500-2000 area.
and you play with those chips and the buy-in goes into a pool along with all the other players.
as i said im new to this, so i actually didnt knew that, sorry for my stupidness
