Just general advice: Playing OOP is hard because villain can make better decisions and your realizable equity in the pot is never the number you might see in Equilab or the like. Overfolding (according to pot odds and rundown Equity) is not hurting nearly as much as you might think because of this. It avoids bigger mistakes later on. However, I have no objection to how you played the hand.

As played, I think you have to call in general OTR. If you're not calling, you should probably consider doing something else on the flop (one of the primary reasons why we c/c is so that we can induce bluffs from villains on future streets, ESPECIALLY if we hit an A/K).

I think this is awkwar spot. I like the idea of betting the T, that would protect us from hard decision on the R. As played...well it´s really hard, I don´t think 3 barreling as a bluff is that common, on the other hand villain might be holding A with very solid kicker (Q, J), so... hard decision :).

The problem with betting turn is that our hand is almost face up.

What is our perceived preflop range? What is our perceived flop range when we check and call? What is our perceived range when we then donk an A turn? Any such range has a lot of A in it.

It might work by some inverted logic on part of villain telling him that it is SO OBVIOUS that we have AK that we SIMPLY CAN'T HAVE THAT, hence it must be a bluff, and hence calls down with a pair of air. But that would be the day.

Yes, I agree, that villain will know what we hold, but isn´t it still better, than facing that bet OTR?

No, it is just easier. I can accept "easier" than "max EV" on occasion, but not here (because the alternative isn't difficult enough♦).

Totally agree, stop always seeking for easier when you can actually make better.
