Hit set OTF against FD

I wouldn’t normal defend a weak hand like T4o without a good plan. Even on his small raise you could end more times in trouble I think than that you will win a big pot with it.

As played the flop is pretty dry and the change he hits something is slim. So I wouldn’t mind to call the flop and turn with trips. On the river comes the flush on and then it will be difficult to get value I think with raising and I would call here as well.

Do you always defend BB with T4o?

Loose call preflop, but whatever.
I'd raise turn rather, and river it's a call, even if you don't think he has the flush, the thing is he won't call with lots of worse hands anyway.

I also believe the call preflop is too loose. Even when we are IP and sizing is small. Anyway I would raise OTT. What are the chances villain will fire 3rd barrel as a bluff? As played I definitely don´t raise OTR, we don´t have the nuts and there is no more value for us.

Calling preflop is up to your playstyle there if you're confortable postflop but IMO 4Ts would be way better.
If you have a plan against weak oppponent why not defend 4To.
