Hello everybody! I often see the news about fast poker. May poker room nowadays launch it and add to their platforms. For example, Fast Fold, Zoom (Poker Stars), Boost Poker, Rapid Poker (EvenBet Gaming). What do you think about it? Is it a new tendency in the industry? Why such type of poker is supposed to be the better than classical?

Well that depends on how it might get popular. Poker rooms might introduce it but it will still fall on the players if they would play it or not. Theirs nothing wrong introducing new kind of poker. It is part of the innovation of the game and to make players from not being bored.

It's popular with winning regs because they can play more hands per hour and boost their hourly earnings. It is popular with recs as well because there is no waiting between hands.
So fast fold poker is here to stay.

It looks like it, but I think innovation is never bad to get more action and players on the site. Also you have more options to play. Now you have on PokerStars/FTP for example the beating the clock format that is also a very fast that’s suitable for people that likes to play MTT SNG’s and don’t have much time. That’s still waiting if that will be a success for them.

In my opnion, fast poker is definitely new tendency in industry. Our world becomes faster and faster and poker becomes faster with it. People practically all time in hurry, and this type of poker is a good variant for them. There is no need to wait 10 minutes to fold hands, you can change tables without any pauses, everything is automatic mode. But classical poker will never die, at least, becuase, it is impossible to play in it ofline.
