SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 6♣ 8♣

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, BTN calls 3 BB, fold, fold

Flop: (7.5 BB, 2 players) 5♥ T♣ 7♦
Hero bets 4.5 BB, BTN calls 4.5 BB

Turn: (16.5 BB, 2 players) A♠

Pre: too loose for MP?

Flop: cbet looks right, but I think I could go smaller

Turn: looks like the perfect card to barrel. What size would you pick and why?

Spoiler

Hero bets 12 BB, fold

Hero wins 16 BB

I think I could have gone smaller, probably around half pot?!

I think this open is ok from MP. It is on the loose side but not too loose imo.
Cbetting OTF is ok but I think I would prefer check calling here. I would like to hear other opinions on that because I'm not sure if it would be the best play :)
OTT, I think ppl can float you with some Ax hands. I would slow down here and just check call but I guess barreling is not bad.

So I guess you played this hand fine but my approach would have been just a bit different. I would have xc flop and depending on villains flop action either bet turn myself or xc again.
