I think OTT you want to bet for protection but by shoving you would just make sure you will get called only by flushes.
Half pot would have been better imo, and maybe even 1/3. It doesn't matter too much even if you give him correct odds to call with a single heart hand. You want him to call with it.

I slightly disagree with la55i here: you want him to call when you DO NOT give him the right price. While betting is always better than checking even if he is priced in, the right line is of course to bet enough he is making a mistake when he calls with a

Also, you have to factor in implied odds: will you give up your hand when a comes on the river or will you level yourself and make a spite/entitlement tilt/hero/pot-odds call ? In that case your opponent does have some implied odds.

Pot commitment is an issue if you bet less than AI here, too. But you have to bet at least a little over 1/3 pot to let him make a mistake with a call IMO. In this case, that would be 24 BBs, after which the pot will be 120ish after his call and you have 61BBs left in your stack. In this case, you are not committed by the river. If you bet any bigger, I think pot commitment becomes an issue so it might be preferable to just shove the turn.

On the other hand, pot commitment may not be a problem in case you bet way more on the turn, while you are ahead, than you pay off OTR when you are beaten. So you could just bet 3/4 pot, deny him calling odds, and his implied odds are not good enough to make the call profitable, either, as there is only very little left in your stack. A decent opponent will be able to tell this kind of bet is a virtual all-in, though, and fold accordingly. So I would prefer this versus weaker players.

If you bet 35 bbs, the pot will be 140 OTR and you have 50bbs left in your stack.
This looks really awkward.

If you bet 50 bbs, the pot will be 170 bbs and you will have 35 bbs left in your stack.

In general , the better the opponent, the less I would bet here, but always above 1/3 pot.

Also, I think that the notion that you "could have his stack" is erroneous. There is no reason to assume that just because he called a raise OTF, the pot will be for stacks. So just make a bet to charge his or get value from an OP and see what happens.
