I am a new member from Greece, little over 20. I have been playing poker with intuition many years now with friends in the neiborhood and the latest years in online sites. Winning some money occasionally filled me with hope for making a decent salary while being a student in the university. Sooner or later my bankroll was gone by an all-in wrong decision.
After many comebacks I decided to STUDY some poker theory. It was somekind of boring at first. Being member in a lot of poker sites and reading articles without continuity often disencouraged me.
Accidentaly i found pokerstrategy.com on my way. A familiar interface with a depth of articles and a huge forum for discussion. I gave another opportunity in organised studying....and it goes really well! I am playing fake money poker 2 weeks now and I have to admit that I like the deeper understanding of the odds, the maths and the whole game in general. Hope it's not a coincidence that I win frequently in the sit-n-go tables that I used to waste my real money.
Hope my interest for the game won't calm down.
