Slowly but surely losing all confidence in my postflop play...
When Collin Moshman claims in his coachings that in the early phase he would iso-raise from late position against one single limper with any suited ace I find it inspiring and feel like "hey I wanna be able to do the same thing"
However, lacking Collins excellent postflop skills, the LAG-approach might not be a good idea after all?!
My preflop raise-size is 2,5 BB plus 1 BB per limper.
I opt for a C-bet although I have two opponents because I think that oftentimes both have missed that kind of flop because their limp/calling range mainly consists of Ax and broadway combinations.
Without the nut-flushdraw I would have only checked behind in that spot. Would you have checked behind even though we had the flushdraw giving us extra equity in this spot? In retrospect I think I personally would prefer the check-behind on the flop but I have a feeling that this might be results-orientated thinking...
As played, what do you think about my decision on the turn? I felt pot commited since I had to pay 665 for the chance of winning at least 2825 so my hand has to be best in about 25% of all times on the river. With the nut flushdraw, the double-gutshot and the overcard that should be given without any doubt.
What if we only had the nut-flushdraw plus overcard without the double-gutter on the turn, would you still call?
Thanks a lot to everybody who takes the time to think about and comment on this hand.
