Just joined the forums today and I'd just like to say hi to y'all!

A little bit about me: i started playing poker live when an acquaintance introduced it to our circle of friends while we were hanging out at his place. So we started playing, and as you can expect, i limped every hand like your typical 2nl fish and soon burned it all up, especially since we were playing 30 bbs deep.

I wanted to win, so i went online to look for strategy videos and learned all about aggression. The very next day i went in betting and raising every hand - i was probably running 75/70 or something ridiculous like that and always checking my flopped monsters.

I fixed that leak later when i started betting my monsters too, but i was still cbetting way too wide. One hand i raised 65o 4-handed utg 300bb deep - yep - and got a call out of the tight bb. I cbet a QT5r flop, and he called and I turned a 5 for bottom trips. I bombed it again and he called. I then massive overbet shove a 6 river. He tanks for like 3 minutes and calls, and i table my 65o. banter's going on, everybody's like "wow how do you have a hand there" and as i'm about to collect a monster pot, villain just quietly turns over pocket queens. I was pretty tilted after that slowroll.

That's about it for interesting stories from me. Hope to make a few poker buddies i can talk strategy with (don't worry i can teach y'all how to open T3o utg - trust me it's +ev.*)

Hope we can learn a lot from each other!

*if your 8 opponents are all nits who fold everything but KK+
