Hi all I am new here and and quite new to poker in general I wondered if you could all add an input to a hand I played recently where did I go wrong?
So its the second level of a 9 handed $5 buy in S&G blinds 30/60 and everyone is around 1300 to 2000 chips I have 1480 I am on the button with Qc8c it folds to me I make it 180 and both the small and big blinds call. The flop comes Qs6c7c and they both check to me I bet 450 and they both call so the turn comes a 9h and the pot is about 1890 the small blind who was the largest stack of the three of us moves all in for about 1000 the big blind calls his last 400 and I call my last 850 small blind was holding Qh10d big blind has 4c2c the river comes Jh and the small blind takes the pot.

Pre-flop I would most likely make it 150 in total on the BTN most of the time with the blind level 30/60. This way you can steal more profitable without investing to much chips.
As played the pot is most like 180*3=540 and I would bet maximum 300 in position with top pair against 2 players. Otherwise you will be committed yourself here. As played I would still fold on the turn when the BB is shoving and SB is calling as well. I don’t think your top pair will be good against 2 all-inns

There's allways good change that if both are calling then one of them may have clubs, i would fold turn and like SDK1987 said, betsizes-3x is way to 2012.
The only reason for me to make it bigger if the players are passive in the blinds, but then I wouldn’t steal often against them.
