It's januari again and a recurring trend this time of year is me having a decimated bankroll. The winter rigg is real! To motivate me and get the forum run-good I'll set off a challenge, which I hopefully complete before feb.

I've been making a living off poker for a good 4-5 years. Grinding ~NL€100 SH on a Swedish network. Lack of motivation and not enjoying the game as much anymore has led me to just play the necessary hours for my monthly income. Therefore I've never built a roll big enough to move up in stakes (even though I should had moved up years ago).

I'm gonna spare you my life history/situation etc and leave that for the posts I make instead!

Roll is currently €1400 and my target is €3700. 9 days until February, lets gooooo. :f_cool::f_cool::f_cool:

Tyty! 8bb/100 on NL100, this is on a swedish site though, where the competition is pretty terrible, aka good - for me :f_thumbsup:.

Yeah, I dropped down in stakes as well so it's even more than 23, but I reckon it's doable! I'll be playing NL€50 for a short while first (knock on wood). I've been loosing for a week straight, which very rarely happen so it should statistically be over yesterday sometime. This is 100% mathematical.

Managed to book a green day today! €200 ish up. :f_biggrin:

Dug a hole yesterday pretty early on and didn't manage to crawl out of it. On the grind now again!

Kept on loosing yesterday, but managed to get break-even during last hour or so. Today I've been running some arrendes/meeting friends during the day, soon of to gymnastic training and after that a whole night of pounding the guys at NL50.

Here's last years graph in SEK and BB. Playing on a Swedish network called Svenska Spel, you have to be a Swedish citizen to be able to play though...

A green day! Feels good :f_cool:. I'm gonna grind the whole weekend. On sunday is a top100 tourney on the network from last year which I aim to win. No partying/distractions until then, just poker. :fouet:

And it's salary weekend in Sweden = extra good value. I hope I counter jinx my jinx through this and that the poker gods will be smiling upon me.

Yeah something like that :f_biggrin: I reinvested some in sunday tourneys over a few months (with no luck) and also burnt some on another site during a challenge I tried to pursue though.

Swedish kronor might be low, but no that low, haha :f_drink::f_drink: 1€ is 10 SEK, not 100 SEK. But yeah, rather €27k than €30k, that's true.

Had breakfast with my brother and then napped for a couple of hours, now I'm gonna go out for a quick walk and then it's grind mode.

Nah, I didn't play Jan/Feb last year so it's really like 45k hand/month. It's capped at 5 tables on the network it's on, so that's what I play. :f_thumbsup:

Accidentally slipped in me some glasses of wine during the grind tonight, now I'll accidentally drop out of the grind to go out, hmm... Had a green night/session though and might just return after a beer or two to make it even greener! This is bad discipline and stereotype me - when I run good I quit. Meh, I'll make a cry-post about it tomorrow :f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup:

So unnecessary to get drunk yesterday, but what done is done. I really dont want to make a habit out of drinking+playing, not because it affects my game a ton, but if I need alcohol to get me through my sessions some obvious line have been crossed. :f_drink: Had a good day poker-wise though! It looks like I can go back to NL100 today which is nice.

Just came home from a walk in the sun, almost felt like autumn here today, magic! Tables are up and running, a pot of decaf is brewing and it's time to crush some souls.
