Hi Guys,

Is this hand well played pre flop? I thought it was too much a good hand to just limp and play oop vs 2, mainly in these micro limits where players limp with a large range.
As played, in the flop should I have bet more or play check/call?
in relation to the push of the opponent I don't even know what to think because in these limits I see them doing this kind of stuff wether with pure bluffs or very strong hands, but in general I think I'll be beaten most of the times in this situation...

CO is a 38/10 (AgF 2.5) in 90 hands
UTG+1 is 30/6 in 33 hands

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $20(BB) Replayer
SB ($1,452)
Hero ($1,452)
UTG ($1,952)
UTG+1 ($1,432)
CO ($1,332)
BTN ($1,380)

Dealt to Hero A♥ Q♥

fold, UTG+1 calls $20, CO calls $20, fold, fold, Hero raises to $100, UTG+1 calls $80, CO calls $80

FLOP ($328) Q♣ K♦ J♥

Hero bets $159, UTG+1 raises to $1,329 (AI), CO folds, Hero folds

UTG+1 wins $646

Pre-flop is fine I think with the raise. On the flop I don’t think I would Cbet with middle pair on a coordinated board like this against 2 fishy players. I don’t think you get them of better and I don’t see them calling worse hands as well.

Cheers,

Though I can see some hands that we have beat (KT,JT,QT), I agree that here in a 3way pot people won't have pure bluffs and therefor there will be a lot of two pair combinations that have us beat, next to AT.

I think I would play this exactly the same.

Good point about worse/better hands. With this in mind I like a check/call better than bet/fold. We will never get any value from low-mid pocket pairs and our hand can improve to beat hands that momentarily beat us right now.

Good fold, there is no need to overplay pretty hands so early in the tournament

I disagree in that. They do call you with mid/low pair and air also. I see this everyday in this limit and sincerely it sometimes hardens the decision... However I still agree is better not to cbet (not a 100% sure, though). :)
