iPoker - <> NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4
Mid tournament = £20 (£10 knock out)
I have an average sized stack

CO: 51.25 BB
BTN: 60.65 BB (VPIP: 42.31, PFR: 7.69, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 26)
SB: 35.2 BB
Hero (BB): 34.36 BB
UTG: 16.72 BB
UTG+1: 17.08 BB
MP: 8.72 BB (VPIP: 13.19, PFR: 9.82, 3Bet Preflop: 5.26, Hands: 290)
MP+1: 74.15 BB

8 players post ante of 0.1 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.3 BB) Hero has T♥ T♦

fold, fold, MP raises All in to 8.62 BB, fold, fold, BTN raises to 16.24 BB, fold,

Just a question of what is best in this spot? I have included the outcome below, but I feel its the decision here that is the important bit.

I think that MP is tight and pushed with a tighter than normal range, AA-TT,AK,AQ, maybe AJs andKQs
BTN is looser
I figure I am around 30% against both players if they both call.

Should I:
A) With TT fold, one of them could have an overpair and I would be up agianst it, if BTN calls i am only 30% against their ranges so odds are not there. Best to wait for better spots?
or
B) Shove - if BTN folds I get pretty much a free go against MP and if I lose will have around same chips? If BTN doesn't fold there is only about a 1% chance both have pairs higher than TT, so is possible they both have AK or AK and AQ like hands where I would be favourite, or MP has AA,KK and I would be favourite against BTN AK, AQ etc like hands, whereby I would lose to MP but still profit and make more chips from BTN?

Spoiler

Hero raises to 34 BB, BTN raises to 51.76 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 0.26 BB

Do we really even need to work out what % of the BTN range he would raise to 16BB with but fold to an all in?

The BTN is a very tight player based on PFR so far and he will not have a folding range against you. That’s why I would fold this spot, because I expect you are only in front against AK here.

For BTN we only have 26 hands on him, the reason I feel he is looser is the he's played just under half of them.
Sure he hasn't raised much but I'm not sure if his raise is to isolate MP and leave room to fold if shoved on, or if he actually wants more callers.

He has no room to fold anymore when he’s playing for 35bb effective with already 16bb invested. It would be crazy if he has a folding range here.
