Houston, we have an awesome event happening this Sunday – the 51st staging of the sporting spectacular that is the Superbowl!

This year’s competitors will be the New England Patriots who go up against the Atlanta Falcons in the 71,795 capacity NRG Stadium in Texas.

As one of the world’s most talked about events, we thought it would be a good idea to take a quick run through of everything we can all expect in a few day's time.

The big match

First up, the challengers. The Falcons have never won the big one before with their previous best coming in 1999 when they lost at this very stage. But, thanks to the blistering form shown by quarterback Matt Ryan, they could yet spring a surprise here.

Head coach Dan Quinn has put together a team that plays primarily on the front foot and if this year's MVP Ryan plays to the best of his ability then the Georgians stand every chance of winning the Vince Lombardi trophy for the first time.

William Hill will give you 6/1 on Ryan making a touchdown at any time.

The Patriots, on the other hand, have reached a record ninth Superbowl, winning on four occasions, most recently three years ago when they saw off the Seattle Seahawks. Should Tom Brady lead the New England to the win, he will become only the second ever player to earn five Super Bowl rings joining Charles Haley. If the 39-year old quarterback brings his a-game, then there will be little to stop him stretching is legend further still.

An anytime touchdown bet on Brady is worth 11/2 with Titanbet should you fancy it.
