In this hand, I remember I had the feeling related to the BB player lines in the table, that he had a very strong hand, and I think it influenced my play on this hand.
BB folds 75% vs steal in a sample of 12 hands. He was re-stealing more frequently in the last hands. After revieing the hand I think:
Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $120(BB) Replayer
SB ($2,139)
BB ($2,571)
Hero ($4,290)
Dealt to Hero K♠ T♠
Hero raises to $279, fold, BB raises to $438, Hero calls $159
Here I don't want to do any fancy play in the bubble but I think I can call in position and evaluate flop
FLOP ($981) T♦ 6♦ 9♥
BB checks, Hero bets $379, BB calls $379
Here should I bet stronger? I don't think c back would be we played because of the draws...
TURN ($1,739) T♦ 6♦ 9♥ 6♥
BB checks, Hero checks
Following my thoughts, I think should have bet a 2nd barrel to protect against one more draw
RIVER ($1,739) T♦ 6♦ 9♥ 6♥ K♦
BB checks, Hero bets $350, BB calls $350
As played, is it ok to play for value with this size? I don't think he would have a 6 at this time. So he could have TT, 99, QJ, AKs, AQs, AJs, AT, KT, QT, JT, but I don't think he has a set nor a flush after checking river.. So I put him more in range like: AK, AT, KQ, QT, JT, T9, and so I end up betting 1/3 of pot for value, and fold to a not-small-raise... What are your thoughts about this?
Hero shows K♠ T♠
(Pre 70%, Flop 79.4%, Turn 65.9%)
BB shows T♥ Q♥
(Pre 30%, Flop 20.6%, Turn 34.1%)
Hero wins $2,439
BTW, villain is a very passive 26/26 in 56 hands sample.
