Playing draws aggressively

1. Post hands in separate threads, so you will receive a more detailed info.
2. Why would you raise a low board in the first hand? Why do you want to put more money in the pot? Will you call a re-raise/push?
3. In hand #2 we are IP and there is no need to bet turn unless we improve.

I wouldn't raise in the first hands and I probably would check OTT if it bricks in the second hand.

The first hand I would consider to 3bet the BTN player pre-flop, but as played you can consider to make a check/raise. That depends a lot on what kind of player we are dealing with.

The 2nd hand I would only 2nd barrel the turn if we hit our straight or flush on the turn.

@nitrol - I perhaps should not have posted any hands at all. I was actually looking for a more theoretical discussion on if playing draws aggressively could be profitable at NL5.

Dear corsc,
If you do not give your thought process you will not improve. And if you stop posting you will not improve either.
The point is that it is better for you and the discussion to try answering questions. It is easy for us to tell you just - play draws aggressively but it is not a one sided matter. You should understand why and when to do this.

I'd say that on micro stakes it is often profitable. I would consider 3-barrell on the first hand. Maybe bet small since you have EQ and either you improve to a monster, or opp folds and you take down the pot.

Same thing with second hand. Play More agg. Also watch the videoseries regarding getting out of the micros.

I've adapted my game in at stealing focus and defending blinds harder and win rate is raising.
