Hi guys!
I don't know how to do in spots like this.
OTF : easy call
OTT : that's the problem i don't how to do when one scary card falls

How do you play spots OOP like this ?
raise to protect my overpair and colect dead money OTF is out of question , right? Because i'm isolating myself against a better range

Thanks for help ! :f_drink:

I would play this the same way. Imo second pair is good to call 2 streets. His river sizing looks like he is fishing some calls from weakish hands.

I like it as played. We can call turn as bet is 1/2.

What about 3betting pre? Vs a 70/40 villain in the CO. The sample size is tiny, but still ...

I like postflop, preflop should be a 3-bet, though. I'd also heavily consider c/r-ing the flop too vs. this type of opponent.

CO opens 4bband I do not like 3b here. Plus we close the action.

My two cents at this spot:
Why would we check-raise converting or hand and its value in a bluf ? Wouldn't we be isolating against hands that beat us 22, 44, TT, QQ-AA or making weaker hands fold? . He is not getting more than 14-16% equity/street with AX, KX, QX. What about bet/fold to a raise OTT? check/fold river?
