Hi all,

Don't post here very often but willing to run a last longer competition for the Sunday Storm $1M anniversary on the 19th March

Proposal
I propose a $5 buy in (no rake) per entry. Please note that it is possible to re-enter up to three times. For the purpose of this competition entry will only be charged once. So if you win on your third bullet thats OK.

Proposed payouts:
1-9: Winner Takes All

10-19: 1st: 75%, 2nd 25%

20-39: 60%,25%,15%

Escrow
I propose myself, although if anyone else is willing to do it then fair enough.

What you need to do:
Send $5 to UPAY4DINNER (Ireland) and post in this thread your PokerStars name for reference.

Requirements
At least nine people to participate

It seems like a good idea, maybe in the next 24 hours you will get some participators for this.
Further I wish you good luck tomorrow :gl:

Cheers,

Unfortunately, I first saw the thread now, else I would have liked a little wager - which would have been profitable, since I totally crushed your result, coming in on a 10.301st place myself for 29 bucks _cool:

Is there going to be an anniversary Sunday Million version of this? :f_drink: (But then there might be a need for a separate competition for those who can only afford to make 1 entry, as the field will be tougher than the Storm one and a late re-entry would be rather -EV for those who're underskilled.)

This is a non-binding question - I'm not sure if it's not a waste of time for me to grind the satellites, provided that the 2nd and further seats in the $10M SM won in regular (SNG) SM sats are all unrefundable as well as the 1st one (and thus all but the 1st ticket expire) instead of being converted to T$, as it seems from the info at Stars' website (I still need to ask Stars' support if no one here knows if it's true).

Hello Gary,

Thank you for contacting us today.

All Sunday Million $215 direct-entry tickets must be used to play the 11th Anniversary Sunday Million on April 2. These tickets cannot be used for any future Sunday Millions but should you qualify multiple times to the Sunday Million, you will be awarded T-Money for any additional qualifications.

Once any ticket has expired it holds no value and cannot be exchanged for any other ticket type.

For more information about this promotion, please visit the "Special Offers" section of our website.

I hope this information helps.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to write back.

Thank you and good luck in the upcoming Satellites.

Regards,

Martina.

That said, I hope there's going to be a KO week at the end of April (the 1-year anniversary of the KO Poker brand) and then the SCOOP, I'd rather save money up for those online festivals, see you there :f_drink:

Doubt it severely. PokerStars Luke gave an insight to promos up to SCOOP and there was no mention of a KO Week. Considering there has been a Storm anniversary and there is going to be a Million anniversary I really cannot see there being another MTT promo in between April and May.

Highly doubt it would run considering we didn't get any traction for an $11 event

Up for running it if there is interest.

Ouch, I need to search for his posts on 2+2 then. This news is sad if true.

OK, I've seen his announcement that SCOOP sats start on April 3, right after the $10M SM. He said that in the context of the Championship events, though. I hope there can still be some small non-championship promos coming up. After all, the situation was no different a year ago - there was SCOOP coming up too but Stars did release the KO animation shortly before it. Promos are not up to Luke to decide, though. His area of responsibility is the regular weekly schedule.

Fwiw, a thread for a large multi-tier last-longer competition for the $10M Sunday Million has been started by demetri1978 in the MTT Community forum of 2+2 :f_drink:
